Dr. Kathy completed her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1995, and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College. An integral and very important part of veterinary medicine is continuing education. Dr. Kathy enjoys attending many lectures and conferences, which are provided by the OVMA and GBVA. Kathy and her husband have two children and keep busy with many extracurricular activities including dance, music and hockey. In her spare time, she enjoys camping with her family and reading. Her furry family includes Gary, a Potcake rescue dog, Lenny, an adorable Shih Poo, Gretchen a shorthaired deaf cat and Purryface a spunky shorthaired cat. To round out the Marchildon Zoo there is also an adorable dwarf hamster, a guinea pig and 2 fish Sullivan & Swim Shady!
